hey @monkeybusiness just seen the news about BagmanI'll go and have a read of the comments on the forum. Never meet in person but did have a few chats via email. We have seen a few go this year
John: re the code, whilst it is possible to include other codes, one needs to ask at what point do you stop changing the rules to accommodate. Yes it sucks an extra character here or a missed one there and it is invalid, but ultimately the responsibility does fall onto the pinner. That was the original intention of creating an automated spreadsheet, after the previous successor of the green book would say the daily time to check pins did take it's toll. Especially when it is merely a game but some would tests ones patience if they got it wrong. If you put the responsibility back on the pinner and don't make exceptions, the own responsibility rule stays in force. If we start making exceptions where does it end?
