The funny thing about Joe‘s funeral was I had to tie my shoelaces again. I hadn’t done that since I went to his wedding anniversary party. His wife’s eulogy was upbeat and inspirational which set the tone for a good send off and celebration of the man, not something that we always see at funerals.
I spent some time at the wake chatting with the young blokes who worked for him, their respect for Joe was impressive.
