Hi Dex,

My thinking is that you can't use TA at all in this market other than over/for/in the very short term.

For mine, TA works really well with a free market, but the market hasn't been free since at least 2000. It got a lot worse/less free after 2008/2010 and now is completely manipulated.

At present, I believe FA is much more useful than TA, providing one can recognize to some extent what the Fed/Gov/Megabanks et al are doing.

Obviously I'm just another Prophet Of Doom.

I use TA now just to look at the short term position (ie the daily or weekly charts).

Then again, I'm one of only seven still left in the cellar.
