Not sure on this actually ruling on the PinApple, but it did start out from Bubwell saying it is the most nights tipped with the least amount of points. But they only used the top 30 participated pinners. ( https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/award-ceremony-april.1465017/ )
Loki's monthly wrap up in most cases has been consistent, with most nights tipped, with 0 points, with the highest average if the nights tipped are the same. But every now and then throws up a curve ball.
For example, I've just finished Sep '16... Ahjay wins the PinApple... but if following the other monthly wrap ups it should have been Wazza
Ahjay 18nights tipped compared to 19 tips by Wazza and Hotwasabi. Working on averages then to get the right winner... 128.36 for Hotwasabi and 134.49 for Wazza.
Wazza higher avg actually gets the prize.
As I go back and reading all the posts from time to time rules for the Big Green Book keep appearing, I've jotted them down and links for references.
