Hi: Unless it's one of 'those days' when she opens and goes up or down relentlessly without stopping without any regard to any technical analysis methodology, usually, the Pivot Point (PP) acts as a magnet, and once open, SPI will go up or down, and then revert back to the PP, after hitting usually S3 or S4, so if she goes up, you might look to go short at R3, or go long at S3, if she went down. I use the R and S levels in conjuction with any price gaps that are left on the chart. If in an arrow trade, - long, and a green arrow is prevailing, I will guage whether she is going to reverse at one of the R and S levels. If she has been above or below the PP most of the day, it would be unusual if she went down or up below that. Any other questions, feel free to ask. cheers.
