    Hi Seodad, the town water is unreliable and can sometimes be off for a couple of days, so the household service is backed up by a tank. We currently have an underground tank but the top is a bit low so decided to put in an above ground instead.
    Yes you are right with respect to cooking water it comes in 20 litre refillable containers. For showers toilets and kitchen we use town water as well as for the garden. Cooking water 20 litre containers and drinking water we buy in either 1.25 or 6 litre bottles. Works out about 30c a litre for bottled drinking water.
    Mrs B has been complaining about some very fine sand in the town water so have installed a two stage filter system that will clean down to 3 microns. Big change from working with farm irrigation which as part of my agribusiness in my 3rd life. Pipes, distances and working pressures soo much smaller! smile.png
