SPI Futures traded in a 94 point range last night, with a high of 5555, low of 5461, and a close this morning of 5553 down zero points on volume of 22,853 contracts. Based on that range, my resistance lines are 5617, 5594, 5581, 5570, 5559 and 5547, with the pivot point at 5523 and support lines at 5500, 5487, 5476, 5465, 5453 and 5429. When I woke up, the DOW was down over 500 points and finished up 260 points, or 1.14 pct, SNP up .85 pct and Canada (resource driven) up 2.77 pct. VIX was down 1.71 pct to 29.89. SPI left a 29 point gap from the open of the night session, which filled at the close of the night session. Yes, it was a sprint to the finish for sure, and glad I went long for the gap when I woke up. Now we have the 67 point opening gap to fill left from the open of yesterday's day session, and it will fill, just a question of when. Gaps also down at 5529, 5503 and 5482. It's Friday again, so anything can happen. Have a nice day.
