As to worrying about Dooley whilst you are in hospital, there are animal carers that will come to your home, feed, walk and play with Dooley for an hour or so each day … you could leave a stash of Dooley’s fav meals in the freezer that just need 5 mins of microwave thawing … if you have an iPhone, a really kind hearted carer could facetime you in hospital so you n Dooley can chat … and the ultimate is you can install a camera and microphone trained at Dooley’s fav spot in the house for $200 or less and have an App on your ph where you can check on what he’s up to AND talk to him and hear him via the mic.
