Finger crossed there are no disruptions for your appointment and an ongoing successful outcome. I guess your probably quite concerned about Dooley's welfare should you end up away from home. I guess all you can do is make sure you've a good stock of his favourite food and treats pre prepared and stored. It's pretty difficult when you have no other choice but to be separated from your best mate. Is it possible to find a pet minder near to the Hospital or where you live? I did find this online if it is of any help. https://www.petcloud.com.au
As a bit of an insurance policy Lilly is microchipped and has a small GPS tracker on her. (Have it on an App labeled 'Wheres the Duster')
Do hope you can come up with a successful solution. Sorry we don't live closer.
We have been fairly fortunate as I have a former work collegue and good friend that looks after lilly as well as she is at home. He's 500km away but we manage to get it figured out.

Covet here 18000 plus again today still hunkered down altho will probably go for a drive later to one of the secluded beaches for a break.

Food lines here in the back streets ...Wish some of those that are complaining in Oz about Covit and impact on their lives would stop and reflect for a moment on the situation how good they actually have it compared to other countries.
