I do think it’s not a good idea to delete extra spaces from pins willy-nilly.

However I think it was quite clear what zipperlip intended and that removing spaces around the decimal point would improve participation.

So, I propose using the “SUBSTITUTE” function as shown below to remove a space either side of a decimal point, to be replaced with just the decimal point itself.
