SPI futures traded in a 42 point range last night, high being 6066, low being 6024, with a close this morning at the top, at 6066, up 37 points, on volume of 8,234 contracts. Based on that move, my high resistance line for today is 6094, low support line is at 6010, with the pivot point at 6052. The low gap from yesterday at 24 closed early in the night session, and the gap at 63 from yesterdays open filled at 2:25 am, so all gaps from yesterday filled, leaving gaps below at 6045, 6035, 6030 and 6029 from last night, and 6010 and 6007 from previous days.
Last nights chart looks very similar to the previous night sessions chart, including the 10 point jump at the close. DOW up .61 pct, SNP up .41 pct, and the VIX down .11 pct to 9.14. Canada up .25 pct, Gold up .71 pct and Silver up .48 pct, and the Bloomberg Commodity Index up 3.72 pct at time of writing. World markets hitting new record highs, will the XJO gate crash the party, or is she still suffering from a hangover ? SPI is indicating XJO goes to 6,112 today, however, it's all about the open, so we shall see. Have a nice day.
