Hi,
I had to start a new thread as my 'puter kept freezing on today's already lengthy one.
Follow up comments to posts today:
To Peter P. Funny you should mention a European Bank? The following from the Daily Pfennig on Tuesday, Wednesday our time:
"One thing that happened in the European session this morning, was the announcement that a German Bank, WestLB, is in dire need of a take over... This has knocked the Risk takers back a notch... "
Question About Gold. Nope. Still the same. I'll follow up on the Gold Forum on the weekend.
UpVol/DownVol Ratio. It finished at a Bull Rally low of 0.083. Considerably lower than anything recorded since mid-April. So - much worse than in the two clear retracements in May and June/July.
In America, below 0.1 is considered to be a major distribution day - and probably trend changing. A figure below 0.1 occurs much more frequently in America than here.
Two ways of interpreting this:
1. The game has changed. Sentiment for the mid-term is now bearish - in the extreme.
2. It can't get any worse than this. Go long - at least for the short-term.
I prefer 1. But both may be correct. :)
Cheers
Red
