Hotfire, yes the gold futures have tumbled on fairly low volume but remember a lot of yanks are still sleeping off their turkey feast.
At this stage I'm expecting a bit of panic selling (in general) on the yank market open but it's still a few hours away yet. They have a shortened trading session but that may amplify the panic. Regardless of the volume, the volatility is cause for concern imo.
