    And volatility is never a positive.

    Usually seen at tops and less so at lows.

    Wild swings occur at tops as bears sell and bulls buy the dip.

    In fact a one way decline is less bearish that churning IMO.

    Here is a link from Harry Dent who was probably the biggest bull in recent times.
