    History say OK average 2.8%

    Bit of dart throwing would suggest a low of some sorts in next few days add about 3%, and if not just add 3% to the open on the 1 December figures.
    Apart from 2007 ( lost 200 pts ), any other declines were pretty mild ???
    Warning being history only comes from the events of today

    Everyone deals with gaps differently, and that late sell off can be a positive, as per the dow this one too, sat and closed right on gap :)), going forward if and when it heads back up you would have to be pretty confident of new highs.
    The gap below not so sure whats its there for ?

    Our market looks simpler, with close above 4800 to the upside, nothing stopping a play from the 4729 gap fill either mentioned by acouch. Gut says swing trade only for bulls, bears have a low risk entry from the 4800 until market makes up its mind.
