Thanks 5speed. So the action last night was not expected by me at a all. Firstly I was taken aback by the strength of the Dow initially in pushing forwards and then by the swings through the latter half of the night. As a day trader I got burnt badly not following my own rules and with the large spike down at the gilead announcement I got caught long with no stop. Tried to regain it but eventually lost multiple times as I tried to follow the “trend”. Whipsawed through the night.
the end price action on the Dow and follow through negative after the start of the week spells major trouble downthe indices now. It’s downwards from here as the confirmation basically is in on the break of trend line and next leg down. I’m going to give the day trading a break for a few weeks and hope my bbus comes to fruition. Good luck!
