Seems to love thos 100 pt moves doesn't it.
Remember not so long ago we used to reckon 30 pts was a fair day.
Does anyone invest anymore, lol.
Turnover suggests not.
I guess that means more volatility but not a healthy long term scenario.
50% capital gains on long term investments doesn't do it, it seems.
Wouldn't be surprised if at some stage, if incentives don't encourage long term holdings then some speculative tax appears or even no rebates on losses on spec trading.
