The following are direct quotes from the transcript. “We were invited to tender for upnto 100MW of power generation from CBM earlier in the year and we submitted our tender for a portion of that.” Then “Because it is a competitive tender and there are 2 of us in it, and the other party is considerably less advanced than ourselves, we’re confident of something and maybe both parties will receive something...”. On Gasconsult - “There’s no indication in that article who they are dealing with, and if they are not dealing with us, well I wonder who it is. And whoever they’d be dealing with certainly wouldn’t be anywhere near as advanced as us so I put that story just in the of interest story.” Then “On face value we’ve requested the point of negotiating a PPA for about 10MW.” Not 100MW folks. And “ We are hopeful that we’ve put in a simple but none the less a very detailed and thorough bid for about 10MW at what we believe is a good price for them and us.“. Simple + thourough = mammoth task. “As a point of clarification, we have left the door open for more than 10MW but we have for want of a better word gone firm on 10MW in stages.” Then talked about throwing the competition “a bone” - so its a competitive gender between 2 invited parties and, per TG, he suspects the Govt will thro me the others a bone (“we don’t mind the competition”). Is that how the Botswana Govt work? Really?? If so, heaven help everyone as that suggests a bigger basket case than its neighbour. Which we all know it isn’t!!! Then lastly he emphasised the merits of faraway Botswana as being more attractive than gas in his home jurisdiction to leave everyone fuzzy and warm about future billion $$$ market cap’n. All the above are Tony Gilby words in italics - don’t shoot the messenger please. He also emphasised about getting 10MW award and connected to the grid and build from there - fair enough, I totally get and agree with that. With today’s RNS, equity dilution (so much for fully funded until end 2018) and it says first gas sometime in 2019, which means not much Revenue before 2020. And 10MW of revenues is what - maybe $15m per annum with now 326m shares in issue. And Yes, the reserves will be upgraded from current levels. Can we talk about the mixed messages in the above - If you have not listened the full call, please do. If I am insulted here - I will report the post. Stick to discussing what TG said in the call.
