Friday May 15 - Rabbit day

SPI Futures traded in a 113 point range last night, with a high of 5364, low of 5251, and a close this morning of 5353, up 45 points, on volume of 14,983 contracts. She gapped up at the open of the night session, then a 41 point red arrow took her down to the outstanding gap from a previous day at 5274, filled it, then a 48 point green arrow took her back up again, leaving gaps from last night at 5357 and 5341. The previous opening gap is still up there at 5459, which is due to be filled, and the next one down from a previous day is at 5223 and then 5216. SNP was down 1.9 pct after the disappointing weekly jobless claims report, but more stimulus hopium took her back up, with the DOW ending up 1.62 pct, SNP up 1.15 pct, and Canada (resource driven) up just 0.04 pct. VIX down 7.57 cpt to 32.61. Have a nice Friday, the anything can happen Rabbit day.

Today in 2019, Jeff Koons "Rabbit" sculpture sells for 91.1 million, setting a new record for a work by a living artist at auction. I'd buy one....
