So where are we in the grand scheme of things?
It takes 90% of traders to provide profits for the 10% of winners (or is it 95/5).
The trick is to allow the 90% to make money for several years which encourages them to keep adding more funds.
If you can get them to even add more funds in the early stage of a bear at "bargain" prices then all the better.
Once they are cleaned out then it is pointless to start a new bull market till a new generation of suckers comes along.
So we need several years to make sure that those with some hope left are churned up and down till they swear off stock markets forever and join those who lost all earlier.
By then hopefully their children will be getting close to earning serious income and have no idea of the rort that awaits them. Of course they won't listen to their fuddy duddy parents who were "losers", because they are so much smarter than their parents.
Sorry, but all I see is the image of those in the know rubbing their hands together with glee.
