In the headlines - UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reaches a new Brexit 'agreement' as opposed to a 'deal' with the European Union. Johnson needs approval from a special session of Parliament, scheduled for Saturday. Opposition parties and some lawmakers from Northern Ireland have said they won't support the agreement, leaving some doubt as to whether Johnson will succeed, so stay tuned, as there still could be another Brexit extension. SPI Futures went up an entire 30 points on the news, before going back down again. Boris said  "It's gonna be great" Humm, sounds like Mister Trump with his "It's gonna be huge' China deal, err, that's also not a deal yet.

Today in 1931, American gangster AL Capone, also known as "Scarface", who attained notoriety during the Prohibition era, was convicted of tax evasion. Capone apparently reveled in attention, such as cheers from spectators when appearing at ball games. He made donations to various charities and was viewed by many as a "modern-day Robin Hood". The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, where seven gang rivals were murdered in broad daylight, damaged Capone's image, leading influential citizens to demand government action and newspapers to dub Capone "Public Enemy No. 1". He was convicted and sentenced to 11 years in federal prison. To quote big AL, "You can go a long way with a smile. You can go a lot farther with a smile and a gun". Say no more.
