Nice … we owe it to loved ones, perhaps especially parents … hope your partner was comforted being able to attend the funeral.
In Dad’s eulogy, I mentioned by name about 15 older and adult family and friends unable to attend, including elderly in NZ and my 2 daughters in law both with babies too young to travel, most of whom were able to attend online in real time and about 30 of Mum n Dads close friends and several family members who dad had outlived … it “filled” small presence of family and elderly friends able to attend, and seemed fitting.
