Yes it is.
Now the broadening top formation is not infallible like any pattern, and is not confirmed till the base breaks down.
On a smaller time frame I called one a little while ago that after breaking down, it broke up.
In fact that is a very powerful bullish signal.
A comparison is the H&S pattern that every one knows. It is very unreliable probably because every one knows it. When it breaks and then recovers you should buy with everything you've got, lol.
In fact any recovery from what seems to be a bearish set up and includes a minor breakdown first must be a buy IMO.
Yeh it works the other way and yep even then there will be exceptions.
Can't make it too easy on the punters.
