I gotsa feeling this bailout wont happen.... should get something similar to the financial institutions bailout (i.e will happen 2nd time around)

I think by this stage we will have lost at least one of the big 3 - i'm hoping for Chrysler to minimalise the impact here in Australia.

With one gone, this should increase the viability of the other 2 continuing operations by decreasing supply for the gas guzzlers (there is still some demand for these things -moreso now with lower oil prices)
