    A fall but only a flesh wound. The SPX is at the bottom of its short-term trend channel and was driven up to close off its lows and off support.

    Settled on the 25-day sma which has provided support since March.

    30- and 60-minute charts for bvoth the SPX and DJIA suggest a rebound tonight.

    And the $US has weakened despite everything...
