Did anyone else notice this on Friday. It came from both sides of the table, small little trades, as small as 5 shares up tp 500 shares.
As soon as a small trade went through it was counted with a matching trade amount. When 10 shares traded at 27.36 a few seconds later or at the same time 10 shares traded at 27.37, trying to push the sp back up.
It looked as if someone was trying to lower the sp with little useless trades, like when a 1000 shares pushed the sp to 27.38 it was followed with a 50 share trade to bring the price back to 27.37 and then matched or closely matched with a 49 or 50 trade pushing the sp back to 27.38.
This went on all day, not sure what the total number of trades that went through for the day, but I bet the number of small trades was huge.
