pb, it's hard to see the sarcasm in your post - but you are spot on (;o)

Unfortunately news is released with such a delay after the fact that the market is usually the first sign of response to some event eventually reported (that's if it gets reported at all).

We are left to interpret, pre-empt and forecast the market with mostly a lack of up-to-date news.

Some get it right, some wrong.

Nikkei is teasing with greensticks of late - maybe a bottom in sight at 9050 on the daily? Keep an eye out for the 'black friday' consumer spending this weekend for how the markets might go on Monday.
