As the market goes to sleep between mid-Dec to mid-Jan and all the analysts & tipsheets are on leave, we might get a better reaction to the news when it's released in mid to late January - let's just hope the copper and gold prices don't go to sleep in the meantime.
The announcement will be a huge radar-catcher when it's released - 17% of a monster deposit and importantly it's Xstrata that have to arrange our share of the finance cost - definitely well worth the wait and the stock should be bought on any weakness in the next month IMHO.
