It's not a game it's a tried and proven technique of stimulating discussion and ensuring that opposite points of view are able to be aired. SP puts on his black hat and then posts his "friends" email. That provikes a wide range of well-thought out and researched posts that in fact adds to SP's own opinions.
I love reading these threads at times when gold is struggling because it reinforces all my original reasoning for buying gold shares.
