That is not insider information, that is their business - predicting financial trends and acting to maximise their profit.
That is like saying a stockbroker is insider trading because they have a better knowledge of how the market works and have a closer eye on the market, and hence make better timed decisions. (most brokers (and more so their friends/best customers) do make big money from REAL insider trading as well of course, but that is not the issue being discussed here).
