Don't see many of these around, heaps of skinks & blue tongues but these are rare.
So I was mowing this bushy area yesterday, native trees & shrubs, when I spotted him feasting on something. So I backed the mower away and watched him while he kept chomping. Then I started mowing but at a distance and the plucky little bloke didn't move, he just sat up on his rear legs and watched me. It looks like he's living under a partially uprooted tree which has fallen against another one.
Beautiful creature.
