I am also a DINK....and yes we pay a lot of tax relative to others....but with your comments I think you fail to realise that the children that others have will be the taypayers of the future that fund your pension, your healthcare, your roads, your hospitals, your universities to produce the professionals that will provide the essential services you will require in the future. So personally I have no issue whatsoever in subsidising those who choose to take on the difficult task of raising children.
That said, I also believe that baby bonuses, tax breaks and the like should ONLY be given to those who have children within the commitment that only a marriage and the traditional nuclear family brings brings.
