My kids are all grown up and have their own careers. For a long while it seemed that I would be paying for them forever but for the last few years they all make a contribution when they come home. They do get somewhere free to stay and the grocery bills go up a few notches when the house fills up but when we go out for meals we take turns paying. The cellar took a bit of a caning this Christmas but the guests kept the fridge full of beer and I'm still working my way through what was left. Refilling the cellar will be a challenge but I expect I'll manage somehow.
