This part is very very true..
Companies like Westfield have a huge decision to make shortly.
Do they drop rents to help business models work or end up with ghost towns.
I myself am in the process of starting up my own small business which will involve rent and is partly to do with the retail sector (certainly not directly related to it). I think to be honest this is one of the best times to be looking at starting your own business, as we are heading back to the grass roots and you get for what you pay for, rather then pay inflated prices for worthless crap.
Anyway... lets see how the commercial real estate market goes over the next 12 months!
