Re your numbers you need to keep one very important thing in mind that many so called larger players were packing cage eggs into the free range eggs boxes cheating consumers ending up in court....e.g Pirovic, Eco Eggs, Port Stephens and so on, and some of these brands are owned by Big 2. Just start googling and see what kind of fines they were getting for it. Even FRM highlighted it in the AGM presentation.

So the free range eggs sales are not so free range really. FRM is proud and says it loud they care for birds and they pack free range eggs into free range boxes. That is why they made alliance with Oritain to keep assuring the customers.

Also the growth in free range is not only attributed to Pace and SunnyQ.... there were so many tiny players supplying free ranges eggs which they are now gone... you just need to google Coles online for old egg brands..

so re your point is Big 2 really big? Pace Farm and Sunny Queen own around 18%-20% of the market each... Farm Pride owns 13% of the market. The rest is Manning Valley, Pirovic and the peanuts.

I will try to get the numbers for 2015/16 but important thing is they are first to open new free range farm and we will be getting at least 15% revenue growth from it. Funny it coincides with the market growth. They are smart operators, they are not going for 50% growth and creating oversupply disasters and investors need to understand it.
