Everyone has to work out their own risk/reward basis for investing. If you are young and have steady income you may be able to justify taking some more risk because there is more time to recover. That isn't advice to do so. Once retired, as I am, you need to be more sure of your ground. Actually in my case i have to take out 6% pa from our family super fund, so i don't have to even think about that, apart from what else i should sell first. FD, amongst others i hold WBT, BRN, NUH in order of time to revenue (NUH is getting revenue now).
The PAR share price is where it is because first substantial revenue is a long way off. Once revenue kicks in the financial analysts will be all over PAR. There are some risks, but the upside is very compelling.
