Yes couldn;t agree more - I see MTQ actually closed up 10.32% on the SGX at $1.39 ha ha.
With the amount of acceptances they are getting at the moment it would seem extremely unlikely they'll get to 90%. So the stock will remain listed - and according to them "the stock will fall once the takeover lapses". What about when they try to buy 3% on an extremely thin market every six months to 'creep' their way to 90% compulsory acquisition - Good luck in not forcing the price up if they try that.
However don't be surprised that this next result in Feb will have just about every possible bit of bad news rolled out, every allowable write down utilised along with good will written off etc etc, along with scarcity of forecasts lol
