Invensys is a large corporation, they have around 67000 employees and they only manufacture the automatic meters. It is the power retailers who will benefit from the Mikoh labels. Invensys intend to actively sell this technology to the retailers in a few weeks time at the trade fair, they should do very well because it translates to dollars immediately, especially in country areas of the US where power theft is a chronic problem. The RFID labels are constantly interrogated by the automatic meter readers, which in turn constantly talk to a main frame computer back at the retailers home base. Dr Atherton does not have to build prototypes, they are already a reality. On the US state dept trials, I believe it has gone way beyond trials.
