Skinner would be skinned if he was not going across to work for BP.
He made a really daft statement that nobody will believe. RIO refused to engage in meaningful discussions to the detriment of shareholders in both RIO and BHP. The consequence for RIO in the event of a long term commodities downturn (given the Alcan acquisition) is likely to prove terminal.
