Not a coincidence at all. When prices dropped about 9 years ago few could have made it. If not for strong support of JARE I doubt Lynas would have. The REE prices since July would let many of these try again or new people buy the resources and try. Investors loss a lot last time so I am sure they will wait longer to see how stable the new prices are before backing any new REE company. REE is a very tough market. Even if we ignore all the loses that NC accumulated AL still has not turned a Net profit since she has become CEO She is getting close and has now only loss AUD 103 M These are operational profits and with the exception of 2019 the numbers are the same as the bottom line on the P&L page of AR. In 2019 there was a $ 46.483 M Loan for given by JARE and that is clearly not a operational profit. See 2020 AR PG 40. I would expect any investors in a new venture to look carefully at Lynas and the fact that for the 7 years that AL has run them they still have a net operational loss to be highly discouraging. Lynas was publicly listed in 1986 as a gold company. If I consider 2001 the start of Lynas the REE company ( That was year NC sold off gold division ) then in the 14 years he ran Lynas they loss close to a billion $ I do not think it would be fair to put that Burden on AL.
