By US definition A trillion dollars = $1,000,000,000,000.
That's 12 zeroes to the left of the decimal point. A trillion is a million million dollars.
But the good old poms have different view.....
US$ Trillion
$1,000,000,000,000
= 1m x 1m
GB$ Trillion
$1,000,000,000,000,000,000
= 1b x 1b
I like the poms trillion best :)
I'd be happy with 8 zeros
