Hi uberplodder, thanks for that and to birdman29. I note the article still refers to free of charge giving rise to the earlier charity thread. If the article is accurate fair enough. I agree the publicity is great for Nearmap and Ipernica. However I still cant accept that a company such as Ipernica would incur the cost of the special urgent mapping without some-one coughing up. Maybe Brisbane City Council and the State Government did get free access but maybe the Federal Government came to the party and paid.
I know I will cop some criticsm on this forum for expressing my doubts but Pintohoo has kindly volunteered to get confirmation this coming week as he has good communication with the company. If I am wrong on this maybe Im going senile.
