The oil price is up and most analysts see it staying up as the northern hemisphere winter takes hold.
Gas prices are also up as the market recovers from the Amaranth sell off. Demand is picking up, the overhang in stock levels falling.
We have covered two stocks in the OGW in recent issues that we think are about to see their next leg up. We cant recommend them as a buy, we don't have an AFL License.

The two stocks are Strike Oil and Comet Ridge.
Strike is pulling in A$900,000 gross a month from its four Mesquite wells and it look s like there is plenty more where that gas came from. They have foreshadowed Shefkic2 for starters in December.
Comet has just out out its Annual Report and is about to commence an extensive drilling program startign with what they see as appraisal wells not wildcats in TOw Creek?Bear River in Colorado. Strike also has an intrest in this action.
And as we have said before both companies are closely related in terms of cross shareholdings and common Boards.
With 70,000,000 tightly held shares on issue, 50per cent owned by the top twenty shareholders, any demand for Comet should see some good market gains.
