There was a time when Israel's Parliament ruled supreme and even it's judiciary had hair on its chest. Israel claimed to be a democratic country.
Well, not any more!
Upon the Hamas atrocities of October 7th, 2023 governance by Cabinet gave way to Netanyahu's 'War Cabinet'; a gang of three militaristic warmongers claiming to provide national unity.
After War Cabinet member Gantz warned Netanyahu to have a plan for peace and for recovery he resigned from Netanyahu's Gang of Three because of Netanyahu's failure to do any such thing - indeed, Netanyahu was doing quite the opposite.
Yesterday Netanyahu disbanded the 'War Cabinet' altogether, leaving himself as 'El Supremo'.
Netanyahu proceeded to spit the dummy when the IDF publicised its intention to 'pause' its bombing of Palestinian civilian areas each day to allow a small amount of essential aid to enter Gaza in the hope of relieving global criticisms that Netanyahu's Regime is starving Palestinian kids to death.
The IDF immediately reneged on its duplicitous promise to pause the bombing of Palestinian civilian areas.
That leaves Netanyahu alone deciding what's best for Israelis and the Middle East - a former US resourced democracy reduced to a US resourced dictatorship.
