    Keeps on keeping on
Duncan Saville is nothing if not a persistent chap.

Last year he lost a court action to recover his share of the $41 million from the collapse of New Cap Reinsurance.

And then on Friday we learned the size of the costs probably outstripped what was at stake anyway. Not to be outdone, Saville's appeal is already under way.

No doubt he will regroup before moving onto his next piece of litigation on behalf of his esteemed ticketing concern ERG in its action against the NSW Government that follows the termination of an integrated ticketing contract.

While the NSW Government set the ball rolling with a $95 million action, ERG responded with plans for a $250 million claim of its own.

Given Saville's persistence in the New Cap matter, we fear it's the kind of staying power that could keep the NSW Transport Minister, John Watkins, awake at night.
