The thing that worries me about this sudden large selling is that it might be from sources that know the pricing of the share issue that will inevitably flow from the Gecamines acquisition - and if that share issue is an issue to all holders(as BT has previously said) then more than likely it will be a non-renounceable issue so shareholders will not be able to sell their 'rights' to the issue. I don't believe Canadian companies have 'rights' issues.
All of this is pure speculation but food for thought.
