For the last 30 years my wife and I have had the pleasure of living on acreage between The Gold Coast and Brisbane. For all that time some of our neighbors have been running herds of up to 60 cattle on their acres. This year they are all gone.

And While I am on it. Why are we paying record prices for meat, when you are being paid peanuts for the meat you supply to Coles and Woolworths.
"Prices are down" jingle is code for we are screwing our suppliers and keeping our margins.
