Has anyone stepped on the surface of Lake Eyre since the flood waters are arriving.
Has the surface been damaged?
Our ABC at it again this morning pushing the Indigenous place names.
I bet before the new arrivals one tribe did not know another tribes names for different places.
It's all interesting however they don't need to drag us back to their time by renaming all our given names developed over modern history.
By all means record their history if it can be proven correct, so those that want can look it up.
Better for all to learn our common language Australian English and uniform place names.
That way we can all understand each other and the Maps drawn up for us by our early explorers and later map makers make sense.
Also would help at Centrelink is they could look up where we live.
