Unilife Comments on Email Alert Earlier Today

The email you received this morning regarding a shareholder alert about a baseless shareholder lawsuit brought by a plaintiff's law firm was not authorized by Unilife. The e-mail wrongly used Unilife's logo and mailing list. Nasdaq OMX, the IR website host for Unilife, has apologized for the issuance of the unauthorized shareholder alert, however, this was a serious breach of their security and authorization system. Unilife has launched an investigation to identify and hold all parties responsible and will pursue all legal means at its disposal.

As Unilife has previously stated, the class action lawsuit brought by this law firm is wholly without merit and solely based on baseless and malicious allegations made by a former employee who was terminated for cause (http://bit.ly/1c5jbz9). Unilife will fight these baseless allegations and is confident it will prevail on the basis of the facts of the case.
