I refer you to p5 of the "Weekend Fin" headlined - Japan to seek energy pledge.

"Japanese PM Kan will seek an assurance from (visiting Wed) J Gillard that Australia will step up natural gas exports as part of Japan's $200m reconstruction.

"Much of Australia's LNG is committed to long-term (non-Japanese) contracts.

"Australia's ambassador to Japan ... said the reconstruction effort was likely to boost Australian LMG (+coal&iron-ore)"

So it's official now.

We just have to wait.
